Visit Asheville’s River Arts District the weekend of November 12-13 for the Fall Studio Stroll. With the theme of ‘Feeding the Body and Soul’ visitors are encouraged to bring non perishable food items to donate to the food drive for Manna Food Bank. Come nourish your own soul with the invigorating creative energy generated by original art and craft.
Hundreds of artists open their studios and galleries to visitors all weekend for the biannual studio stroll. With many hands on demonstrations, performances and special sales, visitors can immerse themselves in the eclectic art scene along the French Broad river.
Jonas will be painting a 24-foot mural starting at 12:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday in his Riverview Station gallery #144. The public is invited to come watch the action as Jonas creates his vision on a large scale. The completed mural will be donated to CarePartners, to be installed above their therapy pool at 68 Sweeten Creek Road.
The River Arts District also features many restaurants and craft breweries to satisfy even the pickiest of foodies. Collectors and art lovers of all ages and types will love the energy and vibe of this special event. Free trolleys will be running all weekend to transport visitors for this pedestrian friendly event.
